Answer engine optimization is a practical label for making useful answers clear and accessible. It does not provide control over an AI platform’s citations or recommendations.

## Write the answer and its boundaries

Give each important page a specific purpose. Explain what the service does, who it suits, what is included and what is excluded. Use descriptive headings and factual paragraphs that make sense without unexplained references to earlier sections.

Short sentences can improve readability, but there is no universal 25-word sentence rule or 100-word extraction threshold. Do not replace missing evidence with an invented number or a qualified-looking range.

## Publish evidence next to the claim

For project results, name the measured outcome, period and limitations. Distinguish website delivery results from observed AI visibility. Attribute research to its actual population and year rather than applying a global B2B survey to every Dubai consumer.

Use real author attribution when available. Do not silently assign an unknown article to a founder or create credentials merely to fill schema.

## Use structured data accurately

Choose types that describe visible content. Organization can describe the company, Service a service, Article editorial content and BreadcrumbList navigation. Product and Offer are appropriate only for matching product or offer information.

[Google’s structured-data policies](https://developers.google.com/search/docs/appearance/structured-data/sd-policies) require accurate, relevant markup and do not guarantee display. JSON-LD is a maintainable format; validate syntax and compare it with the visible page.

## FAQs are useful content, not a shortcut

Answer genuine pre-sale questions. If you maintain FAQPage markup, use the same source for visible questions and schema. Do not impose an invented character limit as an AI ranking rule.

Google’s [documentation updates](https://developers.google.com/search/updates) state that FAQ rich results stopped appearing in May 2026. HowTo rich results were discontinued earlier. Schema.org vocabulary and supported Google search features are different things.

## Test the website separately from the answer

Check initial HTML, mobile content, canonical URL, links, image assets and valid JSON-LD. These tests establish implementation quality. Repeated answer observations establish what a product returned—not what it must return next time.

[AI Visibility Engine](/services/ai-visibility-engine) applies these practices within a defined implementation scope. See [Dubai services](/markets/dubai) and [pricing](/pricing/engine).
